Man, that is hilarious! I wonder if the players lose respect for a stunt like that. How do you take someone seriously when he is acting like a buffoon.

That's actualy pretty clever, and they got a good play out of it. Too bad Pierce has apparently aged 25 years this year.

Steve Blake and Henry just nonchalantly huddled together with the Nets really cracked me up.

He wouldn't done that if the cup was filled with booze. But I commend him, that's brilliant.

That's great. "Like the shot clock, he's above the game." Outside the box.

Looks like a legit part of the game, like hack-a-Howard.

Watching the last few minutes of the game, both of these events didn't seem as obvious or egregious. Mike Fratello seems to allude to Kidd's "intentional grounding" by claiming he used to do it all the time when he was a coach. The huddle, however, was shown briefly and no one seemed to have a reaction to it (players, coaches, announcers, refs, fans, etc)*
*KG maybe does a double take on Steve Blake and trash talks a bit, lol

All these replays and instant social networking play an incredibly massive role in the NBA. I can't help but think that 10-15 years ago this would have went largely unnoticed and we would only be hearing about when someone reminisced on Inside the NBA or something.

For a second there, it looked like he was drinking a beer.

And LOL at Lakers stealth job...OMG. How is it that none of those guys even noticed Blake in the huddle? Can we say team in disarray? Or are they all on drugs? LOL @ Jay-Z.
