The starters are just too selfish in general. Harden needs to play some defense. His lazy Ds are embarrassing. Parsons plays like he is the next coming of Harden, never passing. Dwight needs to make his free throws already. And pretty much all the bench players are shoot first and pass never. And TBH Lin's few shots looked really bad, but Mchale disrupting his rhythm with stupid benchings is the ultimate cause. Fire Mchale.

giving up 120+ pts with bad calls isn't gonna win us games. we should have never given up the inside out game with d12 on fire. harden missed 2 key 3 pointers and a clutch free throw.

    Can't decide:

We lost because Hubie Brown was broadcasting.
We lost because of Omer Asik.
We lost because of Jeremy Lin.
We lost because of James Harden.
We lost because of Dwight Howard.
We lost because of Kevin McHale.
We lost because of the defense.
We lost because of the bench.
We lost because of the refs.
We lost because of the choke.

Wait, why did we lose again?

    :p

    No defense throughout the game.

That is far and away the #1 reason, but throw in missed layups by Dwight and Chandler and a missed free throw by Harden, and that's ballgame, folks.

I just saw Harden and Howard jaw-jawing over the lack of D on Sportscenter, Lol.

lol how the hell is asik to blame. tbh they should stop putting asik in the lineup, it's mchales fault - he already lost his motivation to play. team defense is the culprit here and better rotations.

Harden always wants to blame other ppl for his lack of D. Just pathetic.

Let us hope this does not snowball into a losing streak. I wonder how many close games can Mchale lose before being canned. The anticipation is suffocating.

How much blame does Dwight get for that bone headed tech? It came at a critical juncture especially since he went 1 for 2 from the line, effectively negating himself.

    No… no no…

We lost because of Morey's analytics…

no wait…. its cause Morey treats everyone like assets…
noo.. wait… Its cause of Le$… cheap b*stard.

Seriously though… this loss sucked. I don't feel well. Going to watch its Always Sunny and go to bed.

Harden's D irritates me the more and more I watch it. He always lets his man get past him and then tries to poke the ball from behind, typically unsuccessfully. And then he just gets burned ball-watching as his man gets a wide open look. C'mon man, at least give SOME effort :(

We lost because the Mavs shot 74% from the field including 50% from 3 point line in the 4th quarter and also 100% from the line.

He went 2 for 2. The tech was the weakest thing I've ever seen. Unworthy of a tech in my opinion.

i wonder how popovich would handle that?

it's time for mchale to DEMAND harden plays better defense. if he doesn't give more effort, fine.. get your a** to the pine. i'm pretty sure most of the fans would understand.

Why did we go away from Dwight so much? He was on fire. I remember sequences when he had just made 2 or 3 baskets in succession, and the next 10 plays were just iso or jump shots. Makes no ******* sense.

Dallas owns us in their home ground!

and those rims were very forgiving for them. I recall a few plays for Dirk and Monte the ball took some forgiving bounces and went in.

Seriously though we need a wing defender. Otherwise we could be out in the first round this year. I am going to temper my expectations until something changes.
