I dont think morey is letting parsons go anytime soon. We're already underpaying him, he's too good of a deal to trade right now. So he along with beverly, who are playing above their pay grade, won't be going anywhere for sure. Along with harden and D12. Anyone else is fair game.

    1. This is yet another LMA trade thread, how is your any different from the 100s out there, LMA and Love are like the 2 most discussed trade targets out there.
    2. Have you taken a look at the Portland team? They already have their own big 3 in Lilliard, Batum and LMA why will they trade him for yet another SF and PG along with Asik?
    3. Have you looked at our roster? Getting LMA is great but with Parsons, TJones, DMO, Garcia we have a lot guys who can play PF in a pinch and you want to add even more PF logjam?
    4. What about the fallout of those trades? Lin has a solid chinese fanbase and Parsons shares the same agent as Dwight and the Rox owe him for selling Dwight to Htown. In the correct scenario you can take that crap but why do that for yet another PF? LMA is a good back-to-the-basket but Dwight wants touches in the post as well, and when LMA had Oden next to him he didn't play so good.

ronda needs the ball in his hands or else he is useless. he cant spot up and hit a 3 or even a shot outside the 15 feet mark and sucks at free throw. NO RONDO!

Agreed. Rondo blows on offense and defense just isn't that important at the 1. Horrible fit on this team especially since we already have a strong point guard rotation.

Let Rondo run the offense, and James Harden play off the ball.. We'd be more successful.

We will not win with Harden controlling the ball like he does.

All of our losses are because of the other team's point guard.

Asik, Parsons and Lin won't net us any star that we need. We need a PF and one that can shoot well and make an all-star team. Unless we trade Harden or Dwight we won't land a player like that with any other combination of players on our current roster. It won't happen.

What we really need is for Asik to try and make the best of this season and play backup or filler, the same way Kevin McHale did on his Celtics teams that won multiple championships. There is nothing wrong with being a backup. Its all about winning, either you buy into that or you're going to lose no matter what. There is no greater honor in sports than being a champion. Asik needs to understand this.

Donnie Walsh would take that in a heart beat. The people running the team now like Steve Mills.....no way.

Good luck convincing him to do that. OKC local sports people always said part of the reason for letting him go was because of maturity issues and he began caring too much about stats. They knew keeping him was trouble because there's not enough ball to go around to keep him satisfied.

Rondo may be interesting as McHale may actually let him play pg and we are one run n gun away from being a juggernaut on offense. Or, lol, please let Lin be the pg and have Harden be a sg. Jeez, how hard is that to see??

Knicks fans is silly to think they can have Asik.

    Asik wants a starting job.
There is no chance he will play behind Tyson Chandler.

Aldridge might be the best PF in the NBA right now and is showing great maturity in becoming the leader of a team no one ranked highly. The blazers asking price will be Dwight.

    Random trade idea thread material.

I think I've heard this trade scenario every other week since we signed Lin & Asik.

Durant, Melo, LeBron or no dice.

Chris Paul controlled both of those Clipper games imo.
Lakers = Blake and the blown 3pt defense
Sixers also had Wroten who had a triple double in his first start ever against us.

Combine that with our atrocious turnover differential and inability to create lobs for Dwight or run an offense then you have some PG problems. Lin clearly is not a pure point guard, but he is a nice guard to have on the team. If it were possible to somehow trade Asik and Bev's great contract for Rondo then I think you do it in a second.

if all i'm getting for asik right now, i'd rather have a grumpy asik and just play the waiting game. What's asik going to do next, a hunger strike?
stars are only available when they're in crappy situations none of them are. Future stars are still in the honey moon period with their crappy teams. '

How about this for a concept...Let this team mature together.
