Why is McHale so stubborn and insisting on the Twin Towers line-up?

Harden actually seemed to be trying pretty good on Redick right there. Just made a good shot.

 

I don't think its hypocrisy, You're comparing a superstar to slightly above average player.

If harden can put up 35 per game, sure he's not going to get as much crap from a player that puts up 12-15.

I guarantee you if any player, not just lin, was putting up 35 points, you would hear little to no complaints. So when harden has 35 and turns the ball over stupidly, its a lot easier to forgive than the player whos putting the team on his back, opposed to the player whos having a decent game. When dwight scores 25+ and has 20 rebounds, we don't give him as much crap for missing his free throws correct? but when he scores 15 points and can't make a freethrow, everyone gets angry. It's not about a player, its about the contribution and how well a player performs.

 

Asik and Howard and they can't box a man out?

 

I can think of only 3 reasons. One, he doesn't want to be seen as overreacting after one bad loss. Two, he's too proud to admit he made a bad choice going with the Twin Towers(at least not this soon). And three, Morey and Les want him to play Asik as much as possible in order to build up his stats and trade value.
