no! how does LA look when he is going up against asik?
let chandler get off his funk (that's what he said?). Parsons will be himself once his shot is back in line.

now if you want to throw in the unibrow, i will do it.

I think Casspi can do a lot of the things Parsons can do but I think Parsons is a bargain for his production vs cost. I know it is cliché, but you cant get equal value for him. Any trade involving parsons we would lose in my opinion once the salaries are matched up.

According to the trade machine, 6 of our players (Asik, T-Jones, D-Mo, Parsons, Beverly, and Greg Smith) COMBINED make less than Aldridge. I think the production and versatility of all of those outweigh what Aldridge can give us. Sorry. He's a force, but you have to give up $14M in salary or go over the cap and pay the tax.

I don't think it's worth it. And hell even trading all six of those players and adding Aldridge puts us at -23 wins according to the stats. I don't think we'd actually lose 23 less games but I think we would be better off with all of those players.

I don't think we need a third superstar. Only one ball in play at any given time. I think the Rockets could acquire a really good solid PF without giving up Parsons, so I would say no to trading Parsons. Plus, Parsons is everyone's best friend on this team, I don't want to risk screwing up team chemistry.

Parsons clearly didn't get Dwight here. That's just BS.

    Harden did.

All it would take is Omer and Parsons or Lin and Parsons.

That's not as gutting as you make it seem.

No, but I would give him up for a guy like Love or Aldridge obviously.

Man it would hurt like hell, but yeah i'd include him in a trade for any of those 3. It would be best for the team. The only downside is that we lose the most handsome man in the world :(

you need to do your maths again, it would take a lot more than that, adding Chandler/Lin for Aldridge leaves the Rockets

you need to add T Jones, D.Mo and Greg Smith to make it work on the Espn trade machine

Parson is a keeper unless we can get Durant. Lin however is expendable.

    For LMA? Hell no.

Honestly I wouldn't give him up for any player likely to be available as things stand right now. His contract status makes him too valuable on a team which already has 2 max players.

People acting like Parsons was the only reason Dwight signed with Houston, when Harden was the main reason.. ( He was recruiting also ) If we didn't have Harden you think Dwight would have signed here?????? Dwight even stated in a interview Harden was the main reason he wanted to come to Houston. If Howard had to pick to play with Love, Horford, LMA, or Parsons.. who do u think he will choose

It's not a choice between LMA and Parsons. It's a choice between LMA and Parsons + Asik.

It would take two main role players and the rest would be fillers.

Once the time period passes where Ronnie Brewer and Fransisco Garcia can be traded, we can include either of them. I'm sure you know which one they'd prefer to give up.

T-Jones more than likely wouldn't be included but I'm sure we would not hesitate if all we were giving up were Smith, Moteijunas, and Jones with Omer and Parsons for LMA.

Far from breaking up our "core" as you seem to see it.

We still have Beverly, Lin, Casspi, Brooks, Garcia (assuming he's not included) and Covington.

Morey won't trade Asik or Lin anyway, they are vital to our team and Lin is playing well this season, he is shooting the ball much better
