Would you rather give Dwight Yao's post moves or Yao's free throw accuracy?

Either one and he would be in the running for GOAT. If you give him post moves, he would be automatic because he is so athletic and long. If you give him free throws, you couldn't foul him, so he would get dunk after dunk. It would not be just two or four extra points a game, it would literally be ten or more.

Post moves. If Howard could shoot free throws like Yao, then they wouldn't foul him so much and his FTA would go down. All he could rely on would be his "meh" post moves in this scenario. I would rather him be like Shaq.

    I miss Yao again :(

Actually, in this scenario, Howard might be better off as he is right now, than to have better free throw shooting. A good amount of his points come from his FTs just because of the amount he shoots. If he was good at FTs and his attempts went down, then his overall points might go down as well. Weird

    you mean a jump hook?

If Dwight just slightly improves his free throws, we would be a much better team.

Yao's free throw accuracy...dwight can score efficiently inside, but the problem is teams are now fouling him near the basket instead giving him a layup or dunk.

Free throws Dwight could lead the league in scoring if he made most of his free throws

Howard can not score efficiently inside, that is why someone starts this thread. The teams are fouling him because Howard can only have a layup or dunk inside, no one will let you do. If you have a good post move or outside game, then people can not foul you easily.

It should've been a poll. Give Dwight Yao's FT, give Asik Yao's moves.

Post moves. Shaq won championships with his terrible ft shooting. You give Dwight post moves and he's dominant

You have to go free throw. Dwight shoots 55+% from the field anyway. If Howard was 75% from the free throw line! forget about Yao's 88%, this would enable him to play more and in the crunch time of the games.

I would only go post moves if he would also get Yao's solid 15-18 foot shot and Yao's turn around baseline jump shot that he was so lethal with at the end of his career. And if he had those shots then he would pretty much have to be a good free throw shooter lol

    Free throw, easily.

If he has free throws, he stays in the game late and presumably that means he'd be able to hit a jump shot from 15 feet too.
