ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Clippers 11/4/2013

Of course as biased Rockets fans ourselves it's tough to listen to an opponents broadcast. But having had to sit through a good number of these things last season, these announcers are awful. At least Bill tries to limit his homerism when he's broadcasting on national tv.

 

It looks like we are playing with no energy and nobody is stepping up as a leader. I feel like we are being out coached more tan just being outplayed only. This clippers team, with Doc Rivers managing CP3 and the entire team are going to get over that hump and do ome damage in the west.

 

i have to say lin holding his own against paul and looking like an actual pg going to his left and dishing off...i think clippers didn't think that was possible.

 

Harden and Parson's D is not bad.
Parsons has 1 rebound...

 

Hopefully getting Howard back will help

 

CP3 was almost doing nothing.... He attacked only like twice in the game and mostly of the time was just standing outside and passing the ball...

 

I think the key will be Lin playing better against CP3 (doubtful), or Howard exerting dominance (somewhat possible), or Harden taking the stage by storm (absolutely possible).

 

can we designate the LA Flopper as our top enemies now?

 

maybe he should call out harden's defense, cause there is none so far.

 

James playing like crap offensively but that doesn't mean he can stop playing defense.

why did harden throw away the last shot? the defender was right there. he should attack and draw defenders. then pass to open man.

 

And he will be fouled out in 10 mins

12 points is nothing in basketball with 2 quarters to go. However, if LA shoots lights out like in the first half I don't think it will happen.

He said we needed better defense at the point of attack in his interview. Don't really know what else to take from it.

 

I realize these are the Clipper home[er] announcers, but I'm sure they know they are on NBATV, you would think they would try to tone down their shtick just a little bit.

 

How long till Howard and Griffin pick up their 4th fouls? I'm betting 3 minutes or less and both will have to sit again!
