Really, really glad we kept Brooks around. He'll now get his chance to show if he still has anything left in the tank.

 

You say that, but I know some Rockets 'fans' in real life who would be more than happy to see Lin out of the rotation in any way possible. And judging from some of the posts on here, some people feel the same way.

 

Damn, that sucks. He's our best defender at the PG position, so defensively, the rest of the team is going to have to step up. It's a loss, but I'm think Brooks is more than capable of handling back-up duties for 2 weeks. It's nice having depth.

 

This sucks. Hope it doesn't cause them to rush back Harden unwisely.

I view the Rockets like the Heat and Spurs . We don't need home court advantage at all cost.

Just keep healthy and keep developing for the playoff run.

As much as I wanted Lin to start, notwithstanding 6th man rhetoric, this isn't the way it should have happened! Godspeed on Beverley's recovery and I hope he's healed up in time so I can watch him pick-pocket the combo of Felton/Prigionni when the Rox travel to MSG on 11/14 .

 

I came here for Lin. I feel bad about Patrick being hurt, wish him the best. It is not Patrick against Jeremy. I think the haters of Lin and Rockets try to make us look bad!

This. Miami started Roger Mason, Jr. the other night instead of Ray Allen or Shane Battier to keep their rotations in tact. We should do the same. Start Brooks so everyone's roles & rotations remain as consistent as possible.
