I only see us losing to the Clipps. 9-1

 

I say 7-3, and it could be slightly worse. We lose both Clips matchups (and everyone loses their minds) and we lose the second game of the back to back in New York.

Pretty good start for a team that's just getting started.

I think their is only one team that is better than the Rockets and even then, we match up with them well.

There will be struggles out of the gate.

 

9-1 with a loss to Toronto or Philadelphia (trap game)

I don't see any match up problems in the first 10 games, except for maybe Dirk in Dallas but we will beat Dallas. Beverley will embarrass Chris Paul.

 

8-2~ I predict an upset loss somewhere along with one game where we get caught with no energy for some reason. I can't see a game where we aren't competitive all season long, save a clunker or two as we have so many options and run a fast paced game.
Having said that, 10-0 won't surprise me a bit cuz we look super charged this year.

 

have to see how the TT works, last year we handled NY because of the run and gun they just couldnt keep up that. This year I have to see if its going to be howard post ups, how will hard howard play bev parson etc from the jump. Preseason is just preseason just how we saw the clippers and bulls get blown out last night.

We could go 10-0, probably 7-3 to 8-2. I'm sure we'll lose one of those road games. The Clippers are just the only team on that list good enough for me to justify handing them a win at home even. The Clippers, Portland, New York and possibly Dallas are the only teams on that list that will even possibly make the playoffs.

I think there will only be one game where we will not be favored and thats the Clipps in LA. I think we will likely be favored in the home game against them. Rockets are going to be eager to get off to a great start and show the league they are for real.
