The Rockets missed out on hustle points, rebounds, loose balls, solid defense, and that spark of the bench type player.

Rockets drafted Najera then traded to him Dallas for Dan "the man" Langhi who now bench warms for the Suns.

Players that got away list:

1) Rashard Lewis
2) Richard Jefferson
3) Eduardo Najera
4) Insert player

So I assume your CC.net feedback is that you want a forum dedicated to players the Rockets missed out on or you want a forum for Eduardo Najera.

Rockets-related stuff should go into the "Rockets 2003 : Game Action and Roster Moves" forum.

The Feedback Forum is for general feedback regarding the bbs.

Can't we put this to rest. I swear, the only reason Najera talk exists is because of the Big 12 people here. Kenny was so much better than Najera,,,this is just silly. We weren't taking a 4th power forward.

Dallas drafted Langhi. Then they offered him to us for Najera PLUS a second round pick. They needed the PF, and we overrated Langhi.

We did not miss out on Najera. We missed out a Michael Redd, drafted #43. Let's get that straight.

It STILL pisses me off that we didn't draft Clyde back in '83...

If you think THAT'S bad, just take a look at the 1970 draft. We passed on Pistol Pete AND Dave Cowens in the first round. In the second round, we passed on Tiny Archibald!!

I mean, Rudy Tomjanovich and Calvin Murphy? What the heck have THOSE two scrubs ever done?

This is nothing new look at some of the other brilliant specimens the Rockets have drafted over the years such as Jason Collier, Rodrick Rhodes, Serge Zwikker, Richard Petruska, John Turner, Buck Johnson, Derrick Chievous, etc.

Harold Minor. Won the slam dunk contest, then disappeared. For every Horry, there has been a Jason Collier, unfortunately.

But don't forget Bryce Drew either. Lay off the Miller Lite's Rudy.

Mobley was a steal, Horry, Cassell, Harrington, the Rockets are like most teams, hits and misses.
