I hope they can help the kid to have a turn around. And I hope they lose to us in the finals!

 

It can work both ways. The team can influence Beasley into becoming a better player or Beasley may also influence other players about the benefits of smoking weed.

They have around 13 guaranteed spots. (Unless juwan howard pulls another backroom deal to get on roster then its 14. Or greg oden bombs)

Then they have around 6 players competing for last 2 spots. Beasley should beat half of them, its possible he can be the last camp cut. At the very least its an audition to rest of league, but then if he keeps his head straight he might be worth keeping

 

And you know the #1, #4, and #5 pick from the 2003 draft which is just a little more important.

While getting caught smoking pot has been the main news following Beasley, the only reason he hasn't stuck around on a team is his fascination with the mid-range shot.

 

Smoking pot is not the cause, it's a symptom. Intelligence and right attitude are the most underrated talents in the NBA.

I'd say Oden has more potential than Beasley to have a good NBA career.

 

It's not the mar1juana, I think a lot of NBA players smoke. The problem is his stupidity and lack of dedication to the game. Players who get caught doing the **** Beasley has been doing aren't good enough to be players on a championship team.
