The Rockets should test their team......and suspend players if they have any trace of pot in their system. It effects their play..and one joint is detectable in the bloodstream for up to 30 days. Those who argue that pot should be legalized are clearly naive in their views of what Pot does to the body. Pot and alcohol are bad for you, Pot is worse in that it is also illegal and is considered a gateway drug for harsher stuff. All that being put aside, Eddie Griffin is 20 years old and the Rockets should have been protecting their investment by having someone with him. EG and his sorry a$$ play have hurt the Rockets all year, and now his idiocy is going to cost them in trade value. EG is a waste of 1...no...2...NO 3 fricken draft picks. Everyone calm down. I think we should at least hear Eddie's own explanation. Maybe someone planted the weed in his car. At a time when Rox fighting for the playoff, this incident no doubt gives us unnecessary distraction. I hope the Rox can stick to the winning way and get the playoff.
I've found it to be quite the opposite. Pot is less dangerous than substances that are legal. mar1juana is not a gateway drug. Eddie Griffin is 20 damn years old. TWENTY. It is way too early to be calling him a bust of a pick. Smoking mar1juana is not a major character flaw, and if peole think it is, I'm reminded about a quote about splinters and beams . . . . Also, you really don't seem to know much about mar1juana, so I wouldn't be commenting on it - cause it makes you look foolish.
