definitely Asik just because Bogut has a history of being injury prone

Bogut is the better overall player, but Bogut can't stay healthy.

It's easily Asik because he can stay healthy.

Asik....only because he can stay healthy. Bogut and Asik plays very similar roles for their teams. They clog up space inside and are defensive anchors for their team. When they are on the floor both the Warriors and Rockets are pretty good defensive teams. With that said the only difference last season was Bogut was NEVER healthy, even some games he played he was very slow and ineffective out there.

Pretty sure Asik is the active leaders in games played after Russell Westbrook went down. Damn Impressive, especially for a big man.

I'm a big Bogut fan. With the health caveat, Bogut. Without, Asik by far.

If Bogut was as healthy as Asik, he is obviously the better player.

Bogut was a stud before he broke his arm in 30 places. Now he's just bleh.

I love Bogut's passing ability! It would be just like having Brad Miller back on the team.. Oh maybe Asik then..

That question is as easy to answer as who would you want on your side in a fight from the movie Unbreakable, Bruce Willis or Samuel L. Jackson?.

    Answer: The Turkish Hammer!

Asik going away. Bogut is more skilled but his body is a trainwreck. The guy cant stay healthy and will never come close to his potential for just that reason. Asik is a rock and very young and still improving yearly.

Bogut WAS very good, but he is way too injury prone.

This is like a poor man's version of the good old Yao vs. Dwight threads.

    I pick Asik:
    1. Salary - asik is sooo much cheaper
    2. health
    3. age
    4. on court performance - other than offensive skills (which can be developed), asik is on par or better than bogut

Current Asik is better than Bogut has been since Amare assaulted him on that fastbreak. Bogut hasn't been the same since then, and likely never will be. he can't really shoot with his right hand anymore because of that injury. that being said, right before the injury Bogut was a monster and better than current Asik.
