Are you serious .. like the 80's had primitive photography I've seen color photo's from the 30's and 40's with much higher resolution than these . This photo was taken in 1915 http://www.shorpy.com/files/images/05577u.preview.jpg
Possibly the worst article I've ever read on the internet. Total Junk. Right, for the Dwight Howard introduction ceremony, the Rockets invited the most despised Rocket of all time to be part of the festivities. What were they thinking?
Easily Pippen and McGrady Pippen tried to blame everybody for not being what he thought he was, especially the Rockets and he finally came to terms that he wasn't the man when he went to Portland. McGrady, the millionaire that gave up in the middle of the court while his teammates played their guts out. Not a surprise they finally won a playoff series while he was out. As of the article, they are talking about scrutinized players not despised players.
These guys didn't have enough of an impact to be despised. To despise somebody takes effort and energy and they aren't worth either.
So let me get this straight: The most despised Rockets are Ralph Sampson, Hakeem Olajuwon, Yao Ming, and Vernon Maxwell? Why doesn't he just stab Clutch the Bear while he's at it? F***ing moron.
I would say derek fisher since he quit before even joining the team, and also just cause he is a Faker
"Despised" is an attention-getting but terrible word choice for the article title (by both the writer and editor), when you're talking about Sampson. I don't know if "disappointing" even applies, especially if you bring Dream anywhere near this article.
I like Pippen on the Bulls, and I really wasn't around when he was in Houston, but from what I gather, he never should have come here. Sampson's career was disappointing and heartbreaking, but it was due to complete freak stuff, and while it set us back, it didn't stop Hakeem from winning two championships (if it did, I'm sure we might look at it differently). The only players I absolutely hated since I really started following was Juwan Howard. I don't count Royce as a Rocket.
