Looks like D-Mo finished today's game with 8 points.

From what little I've seen it seems as if though he's certainly bulked up, he still has poor base strength. Either that, or he has just god awful balance. Still appears to get knocked down by very little contact quite a bit.

    he looks solid

Murray got him on that McDouble and McChicken, seems to be working.

That's not a bad line at all.

8 points 8 rebounds playing at center position, coaches were satisfied with his performance at center

He was center for about 2-3 minutes at most, made 2pter and couple of rebounds. Coach vent small-ball with 3 guards, SF and DMo at center. That worked out pretty well even in defense. ;)

Do you think that could be because he hunches his shoulders forward? His base needs to be underneath his shoulders, then he can lower his center of gravity and stop falling down so much.

DMO is looking big. 8/8 isn't bad on just 16 minutes.

I really hope his 3pt game has come around. He has a good stroke and he would really be a nice asset on offense if he can hit it at 35%+ this year.

McHale needs him to drop that ass like Jordan Hill.

Good to see him go 2 for 2 behind the arc, but how was his defense?

Yao got knocked down a lot too early in his career because his base was too narrow got to spread legs and drop that butt to lower the center of gravity, it can be learned.

Far be it from me to tell someone to drop that butt, but yeah, Yao had a similar problem and largely got over it. Interesting take, DD.

It looks like a good sign when he shoots 100% hits two 3's and gets 8 rebounds in 16 minutes.

I will be happy when preseason gets here, I think if he can hit his 3's then that will allow him to stay on the floor and get some confidence and continue to improve.

That's exactly what I was thinking.
