Who would want to be known for stomping sleeping homeless people? That's the best news I've heard so far out of the story.

Punk move, you'd expect more from him.

Making headlines for the wrong reasons.

I put it into context for you. Calipari is quoted as saying "this team has showed me an inability to make proper judgment". You either agree that it is bad judgement or not.

Minor injury in this case is undoubtedly one that isn't clearly visible and not significant or requiring any medical treatment of any sort. The action shouldn't have happened. Don't make it seem like Jones just beat the guy to a pulp. Keep it in perspective. He was charged with harrassment it appears which would indicate that the physical action was much less significant than the apparent nonphysical act like taunting the guy.

He pled not guilty. You'd think he'd have some conviction in his own innocence if he's going to plead not guilty.

    GDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The one guy I had high hopes for, always acted humble/peaceful, and then to turn around and do something stupid as this.

IMO, the scum of this earth, are people who abuse animals and the homeless.

Mr. Jones you are a POS, you make Mr. White actually look good in comparison.

    1 less fan.

Rockets should let him go. No excuse for this behavior.

You know, it's staggering, but it's actually worse than what Royce did. I'm a pretty jaded guy, but kicking a sleeping homeless person is pretty ####ed up, and it's a huge red flag. If true, the dude has serious issues with impulse control.

It must really be lonely being the only perfect person on earth! Oops I forgot there are no perfect people! But I guess there are people who absolutely love the opportunity to give up on people at the slightest of incidents. Ever thought about getting all the facts before passing the ultimate judgment? I'm sure Jones won't miss you being a fan. Fans like you are exactly why athletes and other celebrities treat people the way they do publicly at times.

That homeless guy will soon be able to afford a home after he settles with TJones. Happy ending.

He's probably been getting text messages all day long saying "what the #$%# did you do?" Even if he is innocent he has to be having one of the crappiest days of his life, and either way he doesn't look innocent.

so he said "team", not singling Jones out at all. Unless you want to argue that this should count as a strike against all of those Kentucky players, not just Jones. Calipari was referring to them being out at 2 AM the night before a game. that isn't bad judgement. it isn't good judgement, but the world isn't black and white. Anyone saying it is a"strike" against him is being extremely biased since he wasn't doing anything wrong at the time.
