Well he would be an $8M expiring which an owner would have to pay $15M for.

I think when people talk about his contract being immovable, they are referring to getting equal value for.

I highly doubt the Rockets are even considering doing a salary dump with their starting PG.

Don't doubt Jlin. He's been working hard.

We don't need Beverley to shoot. We just need him to continue playing like a pest and recklessly Beverleying other teams' best players one at a time.

as a supporter of the NBA, he does owe it to the fans to play well. You either play up to your contract, or you don't.

he won't be the first player who has, or hasn't, but he will be for the team i support, so i am free to critique any player who i feel deserves it.

if you can't deal with that, that's your problem, homie.

I don't hear anyone complaining out these players being overpaid -

    Who tops the list? Carmelo.

Rather Lin come off the bench. Not saying Bev is better but I think he fit better next to Harden. The bench is going to need a scoring punch that nobody can bring better then Lin can

Yes. The above also applied to all Rockets players. Whether they made 88 millions or the league minimum. Especially to those who they think they are above the team players who ISO too much and/or let players ISO too much to destroy the team's chemistry. Your are no Kobe Bryant. And you do not want to act like a Kobe Bryant. Otherwise DH will leave your for another team again. Good luck.

he could be what J.J. Barea was for the Mavs when they won their title.

You should at least use an adequate comparison if you think Melo vs. Lin is a bad comparison...if you're comparing actual dollars, it's $19mil vs. 5 for last season and this. $15mil for Lin next season.

At $15mil, Lin is overpaid. At $5mil, not so much.

Actually teams absolutely talk about stopping Lin as part of their game plans, your statement is really ignorant.

more so when the Linsanity wave was going. now, teams are more concerned about stopping Harden than they are Jeremy Lin.

Miami put a stop to Linsanity by exposing Lin's limitations.

24, with room to grow, yes.

The question is, how patient will Houston be?

Ok, I just spent WAY more time than I should have to cleaning up all the offtopic snark posts and all the stupid racial posts that have absolutely ZERO place in this forum.

We have told yall OVER AND OVER.

RACE/RACIAL POSTS DO NOT BELONG IN ANY THREAD IN GARM

If you want to discuss racial issues in the NBA, take it to the D&D forum...IT DOES NOT BELONG IN THIS FORUM.

If you see one, DO NOT RESPOND, report it and allow us to take care of it.

Yup Lin and Harden were the two guys teams game planned for last year. It'll be different with Dwight this year so that would make it easier for more guys.
