Yeah, he's 12-14 (7-8 3pt) for 35pt now with 5:41 left in the 2nd Q Is David Robinson's 70 points the second highest record behind Wilt's 100?
chilling at home on a friday night, perfect opportunity to watch a classic matchup..we're talking about Jordan vs. Kobe here, Jordans last game in LA for chrisakes....and the dumbasses over at ESPN give us Dallas/Portland. freaking fantastic.
1. Wilt 100 2. Wilt 78 3. Wilt 73 3. Wilt 73 3. David Thompson 73 6. Wilt 72 7. David Robinson 71 7. Elgin Baylor 71 9. Wilt 70 10. Michael Jordan 69
If Kobe gets 74 he'll have the single game record for living players. What if he got 69 to tie MJ, that would be pretty fitting.
He ended up with 55 points!!! His career high is 56!!! That's amazing. But I don't think Shaq did much yesterday night. Anyways...Kobe is the man. Michael is too old now. At least the fans of Los Angeles cheered for MJ. That's good respect.
A few minor records were broken, but nothing big. Most impressive stat: 33 freakin points in 7 minutes! I couldn't believe what I was seeing at that point.
I think he was like 14 of 19 at the half w/ 42. But in the 2nd half he started forcing shots like we all knows he does when trying to break some type of record. So I think, after stinking it up in the 2nd, he ended up like 16-29 w/ most of his points off of F/Ts.
Yeah. In the first half, he was just crazy. He scored like 33 points. But in the third quarter, he was 1-10. But he went to the free throw line and took 12 free throws in the 2nd half too I believe. I wonder if Juaquin Hawkins can stop him. Can anyone stop him?
