During M. Dwight Shyamalan's latest piece, lots of news and tidbits went around. Many sources and insiders came and went. But what was somehow overlooked, were the small signs that had Dwight heading to Houston. Do we know all of them?

    - D12 jerseys hitting the discount racks
    - the rumor about Dwight in Houston, looking for houses
    - Lakers taking down #StayD12 signs immediately after the meeting (I'm reaching here)
    - Dwight's high school coach in ATL saying he's going to Houston
    - the Dwight in Rockets jersey paintings that were ordered
    - Dwight staying with a Houston family while in Colorado

Am I missing anything? We looked so hard at the natioal media and reporters but the most telling signs might have been the ones we glossed over.

Chris Broussard reporting that he was going anywhere but Houston. That was a lock that he was coming to Houston.

Morey's behavior in interviews. He kept chuckling as if he was holding something back. Compared to interviews in the past it is behavior was obviously different.

The Htown sign at the All Star Game with a big smile on his face. Hopefully when he is in town doing interviews someone in the media can ask him about it.

When Dwight's agent followed the Rockets on Twitter, then a few hours later followed random teams to cover his tracks.

At Jam Session when I told him he should come to Houston to play with James Harden, he gave me this weird stare. That's when I knew it was a done deal. He proceeded to give me an autographed picture and then we shook hands to seal the deal.

It was amusing watching guys like Carl panic in the update thread over every little rumor. It was fairly obvious where Dwight was going. Too bad bovada put a cap on how much you could bet.

Throwing up the H at the All-Star Game was a big deal in hindsight. Even if it didn't mean he was necessarily 100% sold on coming to Houston, that gesture at least made it clear that he respected the city.
