between him and garcia we should keep garcia. it was fun having him drain threes for us, but we need another wing who has size and can defend well. delfino cant be the defender he was in his milwakee days. plus he's an average 3pt shooter, or slightly above avg. career 36%. he makes a lot of threes cuz thats all he does. he avg'd .8 fta per game last season.

tho i wanted him to go to a playoff team. oh well

Good deal for him, appreciate what he did for us but makes sense he goes to a franchise and town that he knows while rehabilitating. Garcia was the obvious choice of the two. Going to miss him a little bit for that swag he showed when draining threes or that dunk in the playoffs.

After seeing how well Garcia performed in the playoffs I wouldn't be too concerned.

I'm gonna Miss DelTHREEno. But Its for the best I guess. Just wished he wouldve went to a more contending team like a Indy or Chicago or something. But Ill appreciated for what he did for Houston.

Agreed that Delino deserves more than we can pay him. I wish him well.

Should not have let him go. Rockets had two key energy guys who could shoot the daylights out with the 3 - Delfino and Garcia. Now that we got paint dominance and scorers we could create off the dribble like Harden and Parsons, we need to load up on 3pt shooters. Otherwise, defense can just collapse on us and make us pay.

    Best to Delfino.

Rockets made the right choice, he was too expensive, but will miss his clutch 3 PTers, the way he seemed to energize and catalyze the team sometimes, and his crazy, goofy faces.

Rockets FO said Delfino had a similar injury to Yao's last foot injury. They probably knew it would become chronic.

Sad for Delfino but he should have asked for medical tests for his nagging foot injury. Probably used to just soldiering it on.

Here's where Rogowski's change in our training methods come in. And probably why they're asking Asik to get an MRI. His training takes into account weaknesses in the physiology of players.

Obviously its not a good injury, but Yao was 7ft6 and 300 odd pounds. This shouldn't be a recurring thing for Delfino, hope the best for him.
