Just an insignificant little comment about ESPN: In today's lead article, they write, "L.A. benefited from Utah's 95-84 victory over Portland, which moved the Lakers to within three games of the Blazers for the No. 5 spot." Uhh, the Lakers are still a game behind Utah, the winner of that game, for the 6th spot. How is it beneficial for the Lakers that the team ahead of them wins? With 11 games left, I seriously doubt they'll pass Utah in the playoff rankings, nevermind gaining 3 games on Portland. Does ESPN think that if they wish hard enough they can make the Lakers win?
Yep, this just show how biased they are toward the Lakers to the point where it doesn't make sense. I think they just assume the Lakers will pass Utah, so they don't even look at Utah as something in front of the Lakers.
