Considering how we were playing D-MO last year, you would think Anderson would fit better with what McHale has been doing. He would probably just step in and take his role.

Of course you could take Smith and hope D-MO improves this year, which would make an Anderson trade pointless.

You know what, I voted for Anderson, but I forgot Dmo existed. So I guess I would be down for JSmooth as well. Please, let us continue this glorious circle jerk.

Do the salaries work? Would the Pelicans have to give us more?

    This.

If Anderson was cheaper, no question. But for 8 mill the next 3 years? NO THANK YOU.

If they trade Asik and Lin for Josh Smith. I hope we could some how get Dennis Schroeder from Atlanta.

Hard to pick because Smith will earn considerably more than Anderson. If we go with Anderson, then we would be able to afford another quality player.

I have no interest in watching Dwight have to man the paint solo and Ryan Anderson getting beat up on D. Defense wins championships, Howard and Smoove and parsons might give us the best front court d in the league.

    Josh smith.

No contest. If you can somehow get Ryan Anderson to come off the bench then yeah.

If you combined their strengths, it would make for a top 5 player in the league.

Edit: Kevin Durant would be the closest comparison.

Josh Smith. No doubt a much better all-around NBA player with multiple skills. A solid #2 star, who will be #3 on Rockets. Howard/Smith=Block Party every night, and along with Parsons, a top tier defensive front-court.

Splitter and Duncan don't shoot 3's...

1-3 guys need to be able to shoot 35%+
