Agree on this too...I'll rather have any of those three, in that order than Smith

Taking this guy with a grain of salt. He said "source tells me Rockets have been informed Dwight Howard told them he's headed to Houston," but shortly after that, Morey tweeted "we have not yet heard about his decision," so clearly Klein's sources have been wrong.

Honestly, I would prefer Paul Millsap to Josh Smith. The best option is always someone like Pau Gasol or Kevin Love, but those are near impossible to trade for at this point.

Josh Smith (second to Aldridge which is a pipedream) has been my guy to pair with DH from the get go. I hope Morey can pull it off.

DO NOT WANT, Pau Gasol. That experiment was an utter failure in LA.

Hopefully Harden and Lin can train to find that sweet spot later this year.

Not any worse than DH-Asik. Better in fact.

I'd take LMA over Josh Smith but it depends how bad the Blazers want Asik. Since they just got Robin Lopez, maybe not so much.

@WojYahooNBA: One trade destination that would appeal to Houston's Omer Asik and Tom Thibodeau: The Chicago Bulls.

Aldridge, with his mid range game and ability to pick and pop a little bit would be a great fit IMO!

Smith would be a horrible fit next to d12. No spacing that's why.

Smith isn`t that bad as a shooter - he is that bad as a decision maker. So he can space the floor, because he can hit open shots. His whole problem was, that he loves to take contested shots!

Man I am so behind. What a boneheaded move by the Jazz. I guess we could unload Asik for picks and cap space to sign Milsap outright but you'd have to get a verbal from Milsap first. I need to just give up that dream.

Smith isn't gonna be taking any more early shotclock jumpers, that's for Damn sure

His midrange when open is adequate

Everyone would rather have Aldridge, but he isn't available. Smith is. Smith isn't the best PF in the league but he's a good big man and an impactful defender. If Asik is disgruntled, you take the best asset you can get. I think Josh Smith is the best asset in play right now.

Josh Smith is an elite perimeter defender and it's not like he's any worse than GSmith/TJones/DMo/TRob offensively. Josh Smith+ Dwight Howard frontcourt makes for a VERY nasty defense.

That's a frontcourt that can push OKC around.

Best defensive bigs in the entire NBA, in a few years we might be saying in the HISTORY of the NBA.
