It would be funny if the Warriors trade their expiring centers and Howard choose someone other than the Warriors

The Warriors are late to the game and teams will want assets back.

Big here, Warriors trying to free up space because it means the Lakers are still not going to do the SnT thing with them.

So they have to get rid of bad contracts...and to do that you have to actually give a team a reason to take that bad contract. So they still would likely have to gut their team to take on Howard...and this is all for a CHANCE to sign Howard.

Even if Howard tells them "I could sign with you guys if you had the space." it's still Howard saying this. So it's not like Howard will sign there as soon as they free up the space to sign them, just that they think if they had the space it would give them a shot at it.

With that said I still think the Rockets are still in the lead over the Warriors
*Does not have to gut team to take on Howard
    *Has the benefit of taxes

Btw: Alex Kennedy (who I don't trust) is saying that the Rockets have reached out to Anthony Morrow. If true, he's a great buy low guy. Career 42% 3pt shooter.

It says they've been trying to move the contracts all week. Doesn't change anything.

    Apologize for what?

Your idea was that Howard would join the warriors to create Curry/Klay/Barnes/Lee/Howard super team.

That article states that is very unlikely because teams aren't going to take a bad contract for the hell of it.

Why can't Dwight make it easy and just sign with the damn Rockets?

They are CLEARLY the best option, and yet we continue to get all this mention of Dallas and Golden State.

The Rockets are the best thing for Dwight to do, and its not even close. Why does he have to make this some big deal? We are clearly the best option basketball-wise, and money-wise.

The advantage we have is that we can just sign the big dope. If Dwight goes to GS then the team will be gutted.

They'd have to get rid of bogut and lee to have a chance. Jefferson has a 11m player option that hurts them.

I'm sure his mind is set and he just want to relax for a few days before getting blasted by the media and do the walk and talk with his pressers, etc.

We're the ones freaking out--not Dwight.

No. What would be funny is if Howard chooses someone other than the Rockets and we have already let T. Rob go. Then a few months later, T. Rob is in Portlands starting line-up.
Personally, i would cry until i laughed.
