After their Finals performances, it made sense for the other teams in the NBA that Spurs lock up Tiago and Manu ASAP. Classy as always.
Manure might not live up to the 2nd year of the contract, but at least Duncan will play another season, or two. Pop, how about TMac?!?!?!?!?

Turrible idea giving him $7 mil a year. They've already given Splitter $9M a year which is too much. Not a fan of either contracts.
Manu didn't do well in the finals except for one game, but he was a big part of why the Spurs were in the finals. I wish him luck and hope to see more of the Spurs' big 3 (except when he plays against us).
$7 million for Manu? I'm convinced he must have some incriminating photos of the entire Spurs organization.
Saw a post from Zach Lowe, I guess Splitter and Manu's "cap holds" had them over the cap. So they have FULL MLE. They can use the full MLE and then resign their guys.
He did save them in Game 1 against the Warriors(well, him and Golden State forgetting to play defense). But c'mon, 7 mil a year?
Spurs will be right there in the end next season if they stay healthy. Leonard may be an all star - I wouldn't at all be surprised to see them win it all.
actually miami should pitch in and as a goodwill gesture pay 1/2 this contract for the sperms #chernobli/meltdown
