Ty! I agree....Lin is a great play maker and pass first pg.. Playing with all those options would make him look hall of fame, plus give him a lot more confidence in his shot.... Not sure how Bev will okay a whole season, but Lin def passes better...

He's got a huge contract though and demand, so here's hoping we can get Smith with just Asik + picks etc.

What exactly would we have to give up to make the salaries match. If we can somehow dump Royce to go along with Asik for Josh Smith that would be stellar.

i guess the only reason we haven't done a snt for smith is because atlanta is somewhat still in the dwight sweepstakes. he needs to hurry up n make a decision so we can get going.

I think some people just don't understand how the game is played.

The key to this story, about a possible Big 3 combo, is the timing. I wonder who Amick's sources are?

I doubt it's coincidence that this story came out on the evening after Howard took his final meetings.

According to Cyberx, though -- and I believe Cyberx and his information -- Dwight doesn't care about playing with Smith.

But even if Dwight doesn't care about playing with Smith, and I'm not sure I buy that (not doubting Cyberx but more his sources), Houston still is putting it out there they intend to try to get more talent for the team.

As Dwight ponders his future, that's a good message to send.

 

It made me think of something though (about Asik for Smith). Morey has stated that he would rather have Asik play 15-20 minutes a game than find an upgrade at the 4. So, why always draft at the 4 position? I know he has the BPA philosophy. But, there has to be a weight on position as who is "better" than another. It's just interesting.
