I kind of understand where Dwight's demand for a third star is coming from. Take off your homer glasses for a second. Is Rockets really a better contender than the Lakers? On paper, the Rockets with Dwight is really not much better than the Lakers with Dwight. 1. Nash vs. Lin/Bev --> Adv. Lakers 2. Bryant vs. Harden --> Adv. Rockets 3. MWP vs. Parsons --> Adv. Rockets 4. Gasol vs. ? --> Adv. Lakers 5. MDA vs. Mchale --> Adv. Draw In terms of playoff experience, the Lakers are battled tested and nastier than the God loving Rockets. In terms of team success, the Lakers with all the drama and injuries still finished as the 7th seed above the Rockets. (While we Rockets fans know why that happened, the Lakers management will definitely pull this out as a rebuttal to Rockets being instant contender with Dwight.)
TRUST ME.. Thee only reason I was listening to a DAL station was just to see if they were gonna discuss what their plans were for meeting with Dwight. I am actually worried about DAL because Howard has said in the past he would love to play with Dirk, + Mark Cuban goes ALL OUT!! I don't personally think DAL has or would have a better team then HOU..
Nash & Kobe are both old but I think I'd switch 1 and 2 Beverly / Lin over an ages and broken Nash Kobe though.... once healthy again, is Kobe
This "3rd star" is big to Howard We need to be getting on the phone calling PORTLAND. They could use Asik.... We need to give up future 1st round picks too for LMA. Harden, Howard, and LMA That's a contender, Howard!
we just added 4 stars by trading T-Rob to Portland. HoF too. this answer makes this thread a 5 star rep up gg
Looks like LMA could be available for the right price. I'd much rather pair him with Dwight than Smith. http://portlandtribune.com/pt/12-sports/155720-the-lastest-on-jack-ramsay-lamarcus-aldridge-kyle-wiltjer-travis-green-and-more
