This thread is kind of depressing, Sorry for starting it :-(

Our FA history hasn't been the best.

It'd definitely be Daryl's biggest haul.

The Rocket's do not have a history of signing big name free agents. Unfortunately most of the free agents we have signed have turned out to be bust. I am really scared Dwight will turn out the same.

also factor in: can you remember the last time the Lakers lost a marquee free agent to another team? Traded away, sure. Really can't think of anyone they weren't able to keep from leaving on an open market when they really wanted to make it work.

What about Moses? Wasn't he technically a free agent?

Without a doubt, I'd say Jeremy Lin. Love him or hate him, his signing started the buzz that has yet to stop in Houston.

I'm quite surprised no one mentioned Rick Barry. We had to give up John Lucas for him because of messed up FA compensation rules back then, but he was definitely a FA.

Modern FA wise, there's certianly not much to say. Quitten was by far the biggest one and everyone else I believe has been covered. Certainly anyone of any significance has been mentioned.
