There is no latest. It has gone quiet. He met with the Hawks and Warriors. No news has come out except the Hawks meeting "went well". He'll meet with Dallas and the Lakers tomorrow. And then we all wait.
This, And if weren't for conversations like this being carried on it would probably only be 40 pages... Which is still to damn many to read...
I can't wait to see the Dwight Howard Appreciation Thread, I hope not. If it does, it will not match the pages, but the ugliness will be epic.

If it's good news for us, I think it'll come quick -- Tuesday night (after LA's meeting) or Wednesday during the day. Because if his criteria is winning, as he said, it's an open-and-shut case. If it drags out much beyond that and we hear that he's conflicted or whatnot, then his head is in other places besides basketball, and we know how that will likely end.
I don't chime in a lot, but thanks for your posts cyberx. As somebody short on time (studying for the bar exam), their brevity and accuracy has always been much appreciated in the same way that IC 2000's posts were back in the T-Mac and Yao days. Keep it up!
You know, I read the whole freaking thread. I was reading other stuff at the same time and saw a few of the stories I later saw reported here. I didn't post them because I figured I hadn't read the whole thing and it's a pretty sure bet that if no one else posted them, J.R. did. Seriously, it's getting annoying reading the same crap over and over again - especially the tweets that Howard has decided on Dallas. How many times has it been posted here already? A dozen? And you KNOW someone will come along, just got home from work, get excited and rush over here and post the SAME damned tweets in a little while... FFS just stop it, people. Nothing exciting is going to happen until Thursday. We should have a thread where only J.R., cyberx, and Doc Rocket (if he ever comes back) have posting privileges. Now THAT would be a productive thread...
