He ain't better than a healthy Dwight. Carmelo has a legit post game and great mid range touch. He also plays solid defense.

Harden couldn't guard his own shadow.

Carmelo's a good defender now? When did that happen? Just because he did it for half a season doesn't make up for the other 9 seasons where he was terrible at it. Carmelo is a career loser and probably always will be because he is a selfish chucker. Harden was a more efficient scorer and better play maker at age 23 in his first season as a starter than Melo was in a prime year at 28.

He's better than last year's Dwight which is all that matters.

Still, last year's Dwight was still very very good and would be a huge upgrade at center for us (with no disrespect to Asik)

But Harden is better than those guys last year, that's all that really matters to me.

No offense, but Carmelo led his college team to a national championship- an even tougher feat than winning an NBA championship.

Winning an NCAA championship is tougher than winning an NBA title?

And yet once again his team was better defensively with him on the bench.

Yes, and in every one of those cases, literally 100% of reports have been how the player had zero interest in Houston and how the team would not be a contender even with that player here.

If you can't tell the difference between that and this summer, you're arguing just to argue. Which wouldn't surprise me.

Actually the reports out about Bosh were that he liked Houston's pitch but the reality was he'd already decided to play with Lebron. No one ever had a shot.
