Italy is proven and clearly no. 3 in the world in my opinion, they've been brillant since EC. Portugal, Brazil, Uruguay, etc. are not even close imo.

these Latin commentators are horrible right now on ESPN. The pbp guy sounds like he just learned English, he can barely get words out of his mouth.

Italy is taking a page out of Bayern's playbook. Too bad Balotelli isn't playing because I think they'll be up by a goal or two if he was there.

Having a striker than can create his own shots was definitely missing for Italy in this game.

Navas saved Del Bosques life. He was about to collapse dead if they lost.

I hate PKs as deciding factors in games, they should play until someone scores.

    Looked like this: [IMG] [IMG]

Sure... since you have ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD to watch.

Lastly, I don't know why, but referees continue to add "stoppage time" to the two extra times. It is clear in the Rules Of The Game that they should be only 15 minutes each, no more and no less. I guess it's up to their judgment, but they should change the wording of rule 17's stipulation on extra times.

Proud of the Azurri. No Balotelli & they still put on a royal battle.

Spain & Italy are the 2 best teams in the world.

He seems to be a true shooter. Sky is the limit if he continues to hit like this at major tourneys

    great shooting technique

Germany on paper are better than italy but they never seem to beat us on the big stage. Actually, they have never beat us in a competitive game.
