Italy is proven and clearly no. 3 in the world in my opinion, they've been brillant since EC. Portugal, Brazil, Uruguay, etc. are not even close imo.

 

these Latin commentators are horrible right now on ESPN. The pbp guy sounds like he just learned English, he can barely get words out of his mouth.

Lastly, I don't know why, but referees continue to add "stoppage time" to the two extra times. It is clear in the Rules Of The Game that they should be only 15 minutes each, no more and no less. I guess it's up to their judgment, but they should change the wording of rule 17's stipulation on extra times.

 

what a beautiful game by italy. One full of heart and grit. They deserved more but im absolutely proud how we played today. Cant wait til next year for the big stage...
