lol it's blatantly clear by now that the guy has the talent to be a rotation player in the NBA. If his off court issues don't persistently clash with his on-court responsibilities, we have a great player stached away. It's been really difficult, but I can see why even a shrewd business man like Morey didn't just try to go ahead and end Royce's career. He still sees that this investment can pay off.

I'm loving that arc on his free throws. Here's hoping he'll be consistently good and out of trouble now. Here's hoping.

The thing is, he plays like this playing overweight, not playing much in college, and practicing/shooting once a week.

I think Morey made s correct pick.

You risk a wasted pick for someone with upside.

Hopefully next season he can put it together.

thanks for letting me see this, i also understand now why the fuss about him.
the thing is if he didn't have the mental issues houston wouldn't have him and he would have a been a 1st or 2nd pick.

eventually i guess he'll get comfortable being in the nba and some of the problems will end.

theres a reason why Morey took a big gamble on him

he has huge natural bball talent ...and IQ

    stuff you cant teach...

even when his not fit,,, you can tell his court vision is elite

It's such a shame, such a waste. Imagine where he could be right now, suiting up with the other Rocket starters at the 4, ready to make a serious playoff run. It hurts to think about it.

it does not hurt if you think how many No. 1-5 picks busted out....
The NBA is full of talented players that work out and more that don't.
It's a shame that folks put such high hope on a guy that does not want to play pro ball regularly.

He looks like crap. Overweight and poor athleticism. He needs to hit the gym day and night and stop banging cheap women in his rv. He has pretty solid handles for a big guy though.

If he can play all home games at high level only for 2 million salary. I'm fine with that.

    He will never leave houston.

Wondering now that Dallas is probably out of the running for Dwight (Paul staying), would they take Royce White? Cuban acknowledged they were going to take him at 17th if the Rockets didn't take him at 16.

Probably the only possible trading partner, and Cuban wouldn't care much for the Royce White publicity either ...

They were going to take him because they, like we did, believed he wouldn't cause so many problems and be an uncomprimising pain in the azz. His value is negative atm, no team would offer anything for him.

That's mostly true. But Cuban so he would've done things differently, and he still could.

But I know, it's a very very very long shot.
