Given the Bulls lineup rolling with

    Bellinelli
    Robinson
    Noah
    Boozer
    Butler

    and Rocket with
    Lin
    Parsons
    Harden
    Flexible PF, Delfino/Smith
    Asik

on paper, we should be better right? This is a bit reductive, but if we played harder defense with the intensity of the Bulls, wouldn't we be a much better team? It seems like the Bulls defense is systematically strong enough to get wins regardless of offensive firepower. I'm suggesting a coaching change or at least a renewed focus on the defensive end would make us bigger contenders.

Way better, we are in the west with better competitions and we ended up having a better record.

Head-to-head, yes, I think we would beat them, but I think they match up better with the Heat than we do because of their great defense.

Nate's better than Lin, Boozer's better than any of our PFs, and Noah is better than Asik. On top of that, they are a better unit collectively from experience and have Thibs who is one of the best coaches in the league.

Pretty much every single playoff team in the West is better than all the teams in the East save the Heat. Maybe if the Bulls had D.Rose they would be competitive with the middle of the West, but he hasn't actually been on the court for a long, long time, so he doesn't actually count.

Nate is a better shooter but not a better PG.

The Bulls are great at defense while the Rockets are not very good.

The way Bulls play remember me the real NBA league: very physical. I am loving it.

whats the point of this thread?

I mean I could say.......if the Rockets starters play their best, are they better than the Heat on an average day?

No chance against the Bulls in a series. Bulls with the defense, the better system, grittiness, team chemistry and coach who should've been COTY.

I'm pretty sure that the Rockets have a very good chance of beat the Nets and maybe surprise Miami for at least one game if the Heat fail to take them seriously enough and spends too much time whacking their willies.

On paper we are better but looking at things objectively they would beat us. I think we play hard and compete but those guys are on another level. I think McHale is terrible but even if you think McHale is good, Thibodeau is arguably the best in the league.

Bulls have better coach, better big men, better system, and tons of experience playing together. Their defense is intense and consistent, while our offense relies too much on Harden alone.
I don't think we can beat them in a 7 game series at our current level.

it would be a good series to watch, but the bulls have experience on their side so id have to go with them. i think it would go to game 7
