IIRC Ariza was a UFA and got paid. Most of UFA's before the new CBA were overpaid anyway. Ersan Ilyasova did not sign as a FA.

Bucks aren't willing to pay Jenning or Ellis, but they handed Ersan Ilyasova a 5-year contract? A 5-year contract is not all without it's risk, especially if that player is not a star. All indications that Bucks value Ilyasova highly.

Dudley would be a very interesting addition but Morey is open about looking to add a bigger piece first. Once he finds that big piece, I'd think players like Dudley will be high on his list.

i think everyone is tradeable but the Rockets are a poor fit for a Bucks trade. I think none of the Rockets project PFs would be valuable for Milwaukee, they won't overpay for Asik, they don't need to cut salaries, and they won't see much value in guys like Lin or Delfino.

The one piece that I think would be very interesting for the Bucks would be Parsons. But would the Raptors give up Parsons for Ilyasova? I doubt it.

    Move #1A: 3-Way Trade:
Clippers get: Omer Asik, Thomas Robinson
    Rockets get: Eric Bledsoe
Pelicans get: Caron Butler, Clippers 2nd rounder this year (for taking on Butler's contract)
Move #1B: Sign Dwight Howard to Max.

My bad, pressed post to early by accident...

    Move #1A: 3-Way Trade:
Clippers get: Omer Asik, Thomas Robinson
    Rockets get: Eric Bledsoe
Pelicans get: Caron Butler, Clippers 2nd rounder this year (for taking on Butler's contract)

Move #1B: Sign Dwight Howard to Max.

Move #2: Jazz sign-and-trade Paul Millsap to Rockets for Jeremy Lin.

Move #3: Jazz sign-and-trade Al Jefferson to Pelicans for Eric Gordon.

    Clippers Lineup:
    Paul
    Crawford
    Barnes
    Griffin/Jordan/Robinson
    Asik/Jordan

    Jazz Lineup:
    Lin
    Gordon
    Heyward
    Favors
    Kanter

    Pelicans Lineup:
    Vasquez
    Rivers
Butler or Otto Porter with 1st round pick
    Davis
    Jefferson

    Rockets Lineup:
    Bledsoe/Beverley
    Harden/Garcia
    Parsons/Delfino
    Millsap/Jones/Motiejunas
    Howard/Smith/Motiejunas

I've checked cap, it all works out for all teams.

I think Bledsoe will complement Harden much better and has more upside and much better defense than Lin.

Millsap and Howard down low is scary.

I truly believe this 4-way trade essentially benefits all teams involved.

Let me know what y'all think.

There's your first mistake. The Jazz benefit. This is a big no-no. Do it again. Haha I'm kidding.

    We sign Dwight.

Someone signs pekovic at 11-12 mill so that minny doesn't match.

We trade asik,t.rob, d.mo, 3 future 1sts for Love and ridnour.

    Lin/Bev/ridnour
    Harden/ridnour/Anderson
    Parsons/t.Jones/Anderson
    Love/t.Jones/furkan
    Dwight/Smith/furkan

bball I think this scenario leaves a lot of talent on the table. Bledsoe is just a 20 min/gm player with just 1 season of emerging production. I also don't see how move 1 works - Omer 8M+Trob 2M for bledsoe 2M, 10 for 2 it seems? Also, the Jazz will not trade for Lin. Bledsoe might complement Harden better than Lin but I don't see those trade combinations being feasible.

Hmmm...I didn't know Parsons plays for Raptors. Must be a typo.

Anyway, if we get Dwight, I wouldn't mind we trade Asik for Ilyasova in a 3-way since Bucks already have Sander. He had a slow start this seaosn but really came around nicely.

In my book, Ilyasova and Curry are the most deadly 3P shooters in the league.

    Lin/Bev
    Harden
    Parsons
    Ilyasova
    Dwight

If Lin can improve to .370 next season, this roster will be deadly! Screw that low post PF. I wanna see spread the court offense and plenty of room for Harden and Lin to penetrate.

Trade Lin, T-Rob, and White to an under the cap team for a first round pick.

Use that pick to draft Rudy Gobert.
