It's called cross bashing, either you blame Harden to prop up Lin or blame Lin to prop up Harden. It's like whatever only hater/fan's worst purgatory, it happens at least 82 times a season.

Did Lin play in this game? Funny, I don't recall seeing him at all... Didn't see him on offense, didn't see him on defense...

Harden's personality is what will hold him back. He needs to mature some and lose some of that ego. That's at least one thing Lin has over him.

He shares some of the blame, yes, absolutely. He had a horrible series.

Harden is a superstar already. It seems everyone outside of the intelligent message board of clutch fans recognizes this. He's 23 he's going to be great. He needs help though

Great season Rockets! This season has been a success!

    Like to see the following:
Develop the PF's or get rid of them
Run some plays that aren't ISO's or pick and rolls
Asik - better hands and post moves
Lin - more movement on the offensive end
Lin and Harden - cut out the TO's
Parsons - left hand and a go to move
Get some picks for the draft.
Get a second star [Tier 1 star not Josh Smith, etc.]
Resign role players for the right price.

I am expecting the Rockets to break the 50 win barrier next season. Pretty reasonable goal IMO.

Fisher was the difference. When he came in, the momentum changed. The Thunder went on something like a 37-12 run after that. Great season though. The future looks very bright.

Luckily Morey isn't as dumb as most folks here.

    Quite the game.

Sad to lose a lead, but given the circumstances I'm okay with it.

    Harden with strep.
    Delfino out with a fracture.
Lin wearing a compression shirt with a contusssed chest..
    Garcia in foul trouble early.
    Beverley in foul trouble early.
Shots just not falling in the last half of the 4th quarter.
Durant and Fisher on fire in the 4th quarter.

The Rockets won 2 games, which is more than most of us expected even with Westbrook out.

It was a heck of a season. The future is bright.

I really hope guys would stop doing that, both sides. They are both good young players that would have bright future, hopefully after their first training camp develop good chemistry and be winning championship together. As Isiah Thomas said, if they could improve their defense, they have a chance to be the best backcourt in the league.

The Rockets have a bright future if we hire a good head coach. McHale made some good moves (going small and playing more zone) but he just can't control this team offensively. We are at our best playing a spread pick-and-roll offense with guys moving and getting looks. NOT, going iso with no one moving and expecting Harden to pull a miracle out of his a$$.

That is not fair to Harden or this team to put him in that situation. McHale has to grow a pair and not blame Harden for his bad coaching and Morey for putting a better team together.

We are close to having a damn good team, but we obviously need to make an upgrade in coaching and in our lineup.

This is on Morey now. Put up or shut up time. No more excuses. Give us a legit championship caliber team. That is the expectation in Houston, not just getting to the playoffs.

I'm ok with Lin not hitting shots, but what frustrates me about him is he doesn't control tempo and has no crossover. There were times were he just runs head first into a crowd with no propose. The were a couple plays where if he would have simply brought the ball back out we would probably scored since we were getting pretty much anything we wanted to that point. AWARENESS OF THE SITUATION can you improve on that in the off-season?
