I'm not gonna lie, I used to be a 'Sign Howard, trade Asik' guy. I've always liked Asik, he has been amazing this season, but I simply thought Howard would put us over the hump. Afte this post season, I've jumped on the 'keep Asik, stay away from d12' side. Asik comes at a much cheaper price, with ZERO ego, and plays with a lot more heart than Howard. D12 is hardly Better on offense, and is the same defensively, if not worse than Asik. I'm outta the d12 sweepstakes. Lets go for cp3 or j smoove
get cp3 and milsap/jsmoove in the offseason and we're looking at a title favorite paul harden parsons smith asik beverley off the bench vets and rookies to fill up the roster
Curious, why is there no Asik interviews after games?? Find it very strange, is it a Turkish thing? If his English sucks, rockets can surely hire him an interpreter.
What I like is he's improved leaps and bounds since getting minutes here, and he seems to get better and better. Harden has to know he's not going to catch those line drives though... for whatever reason, dude digs the bounce pass. Strange for a biggy big.
It is weird that he can't catch chest passes, specially being such a good rebounder you would think he has good hands, hope it improves with a little post game too.
And what's great about him is that he's kept quiet throughout this whole Dwight Howard saga, and only when it's been over with has he spoken out about his desire to leave (which if true is completely understandable)
if omer hand dwight were on the same level but there personalties were there own omer would stay a rockets for life
