There used to be a really good mom n pops burger joint on Katy Fwy by H&H Music Store. But this was in the late 90's... probably not there anymore. Makes Jontro overcome with sadness and grief.

Petrol Station, Stanton's, Bernie's Bus, and Tornado Burger are a few more legit places.

Lankford- Mac n cheese with bacon and fried egg, jalapeƱos on side
Burger Guys- Sonoma with a duck egg on top
Whataburger- #2 cheese & bacon add mayo no pickles or onions

And the fuddrucker guy should be banned from all future burger threads.

I think Beck's Prime is the best chain burger.

Another vote for Fudruckers. Moz grill down I10 east is awesome but probably out of your way.

Southwells, either next to Memorial High School on Gaylord, or Next to Second Baptist, off of San Felipe (might still be Briar Forest, not sure)

Fuddruckers. Unlimited fresh veggies at your discretion. Yum!

Everything else is meh. I remember the avocado burger at Hobbit cafe being pretty good. Nothing else really stands out, and I've only been impressed with the burgers at Hopdoddy (not in Houston, I know).

Man how do you know this? I think that's what it was called. Sam's.

My buddy and I used to save up from our allowances and go every weekend for their burgers and chocolate shake. We lived in the neighborhood right behind H&H.
