    1. OKC will miss Harden more than ever. Kevin Martin fit in so well because he plays off the ball, he's not a ball dominate guard. He fits in nice next to a guard who does dominate like Westbrook. Now he's gone, and they need a shot creator like Harden, not a shooter like Martin.

    2. If Houston doesn't win game #3 this series is over. Lin needs to at least dress. Even if it's off the bench, 15 minutes of him at PG would be huge when OKC has a huge gaping hole there.

    3. OKC would have had trouble beating the Spurs without Harden (since he was just a bad matchup for them). Now without Westbrook too, they don't stand a chance. Especially with Manu rolling like Manu can roll.

    4. OKC should start Martin, not Sefolosha. It would be dumb for Brooks not to. They should go: Perkins/Ibaka/Durant/Martin/Jackson. Harden already went off on Sefolosha anyways, so putting a "stopper" on him is pointless. At least with Martin, you're forcing Harden to guard a 20PPG guy.

If he ends up cleaning/removing the torn piece of cartilage rather than repairing it, he will be back sooner than we think. Metta was back in 12 days after having similar surgery.

Classless and bone-headed? Really? I could agree with pointless and maybe unnecessary, but that move is common in the league and is just a heads up play to try, nothing dumb about it. The whistle sounded as he got ready to lunge, so yes, he was late and it wouldn't have counted had he stole it, but he was already starting his motion. Most guards protect the ball in those situations in anticipation of a lunge. RW was not doing that, so he had to shift his weight suddenly. Can't really blame either for it, it's just an accident.

When you're the guy running full speed and the guy turns his body to protect the ball, it's on YOU to change direction and not crash into him. That's pretty standard for anyone who plays basketball. You have to play under control.
It was a horrible angle. Anyone who's played basketball knows you could only use that angle if you're literally already on the guy guarding him. Not coming from 8 feet away running full speed.
Bev was just amped up for the game. Most of the time there no one gets hurt but it's still a reckless play.

Your wrong, it was just a hustle play by Beverley. The whistle hadn't been blown when Beverley made his move on the ball.

I have seen many time where the pg is going to call the time out and goes ahead and takes the ball to the basket. You see players always trying to get that steal before the player gets the timeout call.

This is just an unfortunate accident, these things happen, you should know this if you have been a Rocket fan all of these years.

lol just take at look at the Perkins thread. People were calling to have him injured on purpose. Fans are fans, and we are no better.

That sucks. The Heat has an easier path to the championship now.
