He's right, but even if we weren't selfish we'd still lose. Probably be less of a slaughter though.

It's amazing how some here will continue to defend McHale's coaching and make all kinds of excuses for him. Is he more important to you than the Rocket's success?

Kind of hard to be a good half-court team when you're not given the tools(variance in offensive sets) to be one. It's too much one-on-one freelancing.

Dude is just telling the truth and apparantly he's rattled alot of cages in here by doing it. Because by some sort of crazy logic in here, if you criticize McHale(coaching) you're supporting Lin.

And the most selfish player of all...

    James Harden.

    Numbers be damned.

Not a winner. Harden would rather get his numbers and call it a night.

This is NOT just about Harden, there were times when we got switches and Lin/Parsons tried to take it to them and ended up dribbling into the trees and getting trapped.

C'mon LOF. Is that the best Harden bash you got?

Harden isn't solely responsible for this, but he is the worst offender by far though. I think I've never seen him get the ball from any point other than right outside the three point line. It's like he camps there the whole game. Never seen any other player who does this to that extent.

Pretty much. Ibaka even says exactly that in basic basketball terms but of course it flew right over the heads of some posters and they automatically put it on Harden as if Harden is stopping the team from running plays.

    Most of the team does.

They all just stand at the 3 point line, wait for someone to drive and kick. If they get the ball they either shoot or drive and will do this ad nauseum.

The guys who actually move the most are the big men in this 'offense' because the handler calls them up for a pick every now and then.

First, we really don't run many plays. I put that on the coaching. Also, I can't blame Harden too much for going off the deep-end at times with his one-on-one. It's the coaches responsibility to reign him in if the ball is getting "sticky" (or any other player for that matter) and he does have the ball in his hands as much as any other Rocket. But, this is(sadly) an ISO-heavy team; Chandler, Lin, EVEN Delfino is ISOing. So Harden and the other players are just doing unfortunately what the coaches are expecting them to do - or if not expecting, allowing them to do.

We need Lin to share and distribute the ball, not just watch Harden ISO all day.

    Plan A: ISO Harden
    Plan B: ISO Parsons
    Plan C: ISO Lin
Not too hard to figure out our offense.

subtle shot by Ibaka at Harden.

Anybody with an honest properly functioning brain knows that.
