Let's see, we proceed tried the half court iso harden game that started our 7 game losing streak earlier in the season. Management panicks, then goes back to our bread and butter: Run and gun offense. Then as the season proceeds, we slowly go back to our useless half court game which netted us a 2-4 record in our last 6 games. The only games that we could win is a phoenix goal tending call, and a weak Sacramento team. Not to mention we lost to Phoenix later. Notice a pattern? We went to a half court game using iso harden!

Now I know you guys say that run and gun offense won't work in the playoffs. Fine. But half court game makes it worse, as you have seen last night. Why not just go run and gun against OKC? The half court game surely looks worse. Remember when we beat OKC when we were down 14 points with like 6 minutes left or something like that? I know we didn't beat them with a half court game. No, we ran it, tired them out, maybe 1 or 2 clutch shots.

Yes, run and gun supposedly won't work in the playoffs. I heard the reasons. Defenses will clamp down, you won't get the fouls called on you as often etc etc. But why go to this half court game if we look this bad??? This is terrible.

They tried the run and gun a few times and still got man handled. OKC is better at both the Half Court game and Run and Gun. Despite not being as bad of a team as lets say the Bucks in the Eastern conference, we are likely in for just as rough of a time.

Because OKC can run just as fast as the Rockets, and they have shot blockers like Ibaka and Durant who can block layup at the rim. Run and Gun might have worked vs. Spurs .... maybe.

LOL! Before you "Run and gun" you need to get a rebound.

OKC ran back in transition. You can't run & gun against a team that is a good transition defensive team. That is just common sense. They tried it a few times it didn't work. Lin tried the lob pass & perkins just deflected it. OKC is to athletic & long & good defensively. This is what happens when you play like poop against the Suns & Lakers in the last two games of the series.

Were you watching the Thunder's transition D last night? On every made or missed shot, the Rockets moved it up quickly and the Thunder already had all 5 guys back. The only transition opportunities came off turnovers.

OKC is too just to just outrun them.

I thought we were trying to run and gun. We just couldn't get an advantage.

We DID not try to run and gun in the playoffs or the last month. That's just what it is. Didn't you guys remember the Phoenix games?
