Fire his ass. What a disaster of last minute sequences.

Guy doesn't run any plays in the last two minutes. Just ISO, ISO, ISO with Harden.

Didn't think he should be fired based on all the crap earlier in the season. That was knee jerking. But the inability to control the players today is reason enough that he isn't the man for the job. I agree with the post above.

anybody watch the espn telecast? jeff van gundy pointed out that the rockets could have fouled howard while their shots were in the air at the end up the game when they were trailing. would be a loose ball foul and perfectly legal.

i don't quite understand how mchale could be unaware of that.

different year, same inept coach and season-ending meltdown.

And a very bad mood sitting outside watching LA beat HOU while he could do nothing in the field.

Lin is very good when he feels comfortable. What can you expect from him after being tortured more than 10' outsides and substituted in with only 6 min left?! Lin played pretty well before substituted in 3rd quarter, but was obviously in a rush mood trying for some challenged scoring opportunites.

I can't help but thinking McHale is intentionally killing every possibility of Linsanity to save his ass.

Call me a LOF. But Mcfail is not only killing linsanity, but also this young team! Fire Mcfail!

The Iso plays, while frustrating, could be excusable given how the team is currently set up, but putting Delfino on Gasol and begging the refs to put us in penalty with that small ball lineup...not so much.

Has any other coach done that this season? Not like it's just Mchale missing this.

Phil Jackson said he is itching to come back. The Rockets should hire him.

It wasn't his fault his stars (Lin and Harden) laid eggs. They were both horrible down the stretch. Both had some nice looks.

But I do agree that he could've done a better job of calling plays.

I don't see how anyone can defend McHale after tonight. He sucks!!! The Rox are young but experts have consistently called the Rox a top 10 team as season has progressed. They have some good young players and the team could have been in much better position than 8th seed if they were better coached/managed.
