No. The Spurs were more than likely going to beat the Rockets in 6, or 7 and now the Thunder will win in 5, or 6. The Rockets are still young and have cap space. Howard wasn't going to leave $30 million on the table for anybody. No point in getting all melodramatic.

This is not just blaming Harden.

Because when any one says anything about Lin there is a bevy of excuses for Lin...but with Harden he gets no excuses from these same people.

No one seems to realize if you just ISO a player all game long the only thing he can do is play heroball.

Turning point of the game was Harden getting his shot blocked by Howard.. coming down and getting beat by Meeks for a Dunk.

That's true. Bill, Calvin, and Matt are saying the same thing that Harden holding the ball too long and not doing anything then pass off to someone like JLin for a force shots.

I wish y'all would stop this damn LOF-LOH nonsense. It's ridiculous. WE ARE ALL ROCKET FANS. If you aren't a fan of the ******* team, THE TEAM, then you shouldn't be here.

They both could've played a lot better. Lin bricked shots and FTs he needed to make. He let Blake go off. But all eyes are on Harden because he is our STAR PLAYER. Kobe elevates his game in crunchtime. Durant elevates his game in crunchtime. Harden turned the ball over and went 4-13 behind the arc. I nearly lost it when Meeks drove by him for an easy dunk in OT

I put the blame on McHale and his damn ISO play calling, but you can't help but feel Harden didn't show up. Neither of our guards really did, but Harden's is felt much more because he is our franchise pillar.

Move the ball to whom? We have NO PFs or Cs that can score in the paint. Parsons gets his points off kick outs and fast breaks.

My point is, ISO /pick and roll is what we are forced to do at this point with this roster. Harden is the best playmaker we have. He won't be perfect all the time. Give lakers some credit too. Because Pau and Howard didn't have to guard anyone they could sit back in the paint and defend shots. The guards could push up on Harden and Lin and force them to drive into Howard.

This summer I guarantee you Morey will bring in somebody that can score in the paint. That will change things with out offense.

No he didn't, he was 4-9 going into the 4th Qtr overall, on par with his season average.

Don't lie so close to sunday

    Yes they did.

Lins shooting in the 4th wasn't the problem it was the dumb turnovers.

Durant just grabbed his 15th rebound of the game, not looking good for Houston on the glass. More updates to come...

McHale won't learn from his mistake, ever. He was calling ISO for every out of timeout play for the WHOLE freaking season.

You would think he knows how to call other types of play already , but no.

Lin missed a fair amount of good looks, but Harden also dumped the ball off to him multiple times with only seconds on the shot clock resulting in him having to shoot a bad shot.

Both times Lin strung together baskets, he was benched, how can you get any kind of rhythm going when you sit for 12 minutes at a time.

Harden did it to Parsons too which resulted in Pau blocking the shot easily. I also thought there were times when Harden let Meeks get into his head a bit trying to show him up instead of playing a team-oriented which resulted in more difficult shots and TOs.

The last two games were particularly troubling. The team seemed like it was fighting itself.

Harden and Lin is going to get all the attention from you guys but look at the PF play:

Greg Smith, 42 Mins, 4-6 shooting, 8 Pts, 10 Rebs.
Terrance Jones, 13 Mins, 2-2 shooting, 4 points, 3 Rebs.

Pau Gasol, 44 Mins, 7-17 shooting, 17 Pts, TWENTY FRICKING REBOUNDS AND ELEVEN ASSISTS!!!

Lakers got 17 offensive rebounds. Rockets got 9. Overall, Lakers got 11 more total rebounds than the Roxs.

This game went to overtime. You would think that all these extra possessions for the Lakers was what allowed them to catch up and eventually take the lead.

Our guards, even with their horrible shooting night, didn't cost us the game.

I find all these comments about how the Rockets are going to get blown out by OKC funny. All I say is "what the heck?"

There's a lot of negativity here for a team that is young and will improve over time. I'm not going to comment on McHale (enough people here doing that already).

Don't forget the Warriors were the #8 seed and upset the #1 seed Mavericks during the "We Believe" run. The Mavericks of that year are not quite as intimidating as OKC though. Don't forget the Nuggets of yesteryear (with Mutombo) upsetting a powerful Seattle Sonics team as well.

If the Warriors had finished 7th and had to play the Spurs, I can tell you most of the fans wouldn't be too happy. Teams like the Spurs give the Warriors trouble. But most Warrior fans wouldn't be this negative.

It's the playoffs and time to show up or shut up. I like the Rockets so let's stop moaning about the loss and focus on OKC and how to win.

Who care about whom is named the franchise player?
Can we just agree on this?
When you are bricking, please pass the ball. Don't damn turn the ball
over, bricking the shots, AND PASS the BOMBS at the last seconds
