It so funny how some hate if anyone likes a team too much.

I don't know how I would feel. I'd have mixed emotions.

Not to mention, we'd go from averaging over 100 points a game to being able to count how many times we've scored over 100 with our two hands.

As boring as having a team avg 70-80 pts a game under him...you gotta admit it was effective. But, i wonder how he can do without Thibs?

    This...

    Rockets Offense = Great
    Rockets Defense = Poor
    Rockets + JVG = Rockets + Offense + Rockets + Defense

Not quite. He'd probably trade 4 of our young guys for someone like Tony Allen.

He said he turned down an opportunity to come back when the Rockets and Adelman parted ways. I think he likes being an analyst where he can just talk all the time without all the pressure.

He definitely is a Rocket homer though. And he seems to like Morey's approach enough where I feel co-existence is very possible.

Really? Shame. I would love to have JVG back on the bench.

He's lobbying for McHale's job...and I hope he gets it.

Let's not kid ourselves. Pop is playing chess, not McHale's checkers. Pop would've crushed McHale.

    Asik before JVG: 10/11

    Asik during JVG: 20/12.

That's the impact he would have.

JVG seems to like current Rockets players, according to his commentory in the last game.

I think JVG is a great motivational coach. Motivation is what young players need. Unlike McHale, he doesn't enoucrage or praise anyone, except the opponents...

Really hated watching some of our games when JVG was at the helm. His offense was really unwatchable... and to most fans, defense isn't that exciting.

I don't think I'd want him to coach our team... at least not as HC. We have a young team, and he hates young players, unless his hand is forced.
