This isn't a playoff game, but it feels like a playoff game. It's fun to have a game that feels important. Hope the Rockets don't lay an egg. If the Jazz win and then the Rockets win, it will feel like the Rockets are driving a stake through the Lakers heart. I would like that.

I disagree. I think Blake is going to be very troublesome tonight.

Omer should always play 35 minutes or more every night unless he is injured or in foul trouble. Big mistake by McHale to not play asik vs the suns. Luckily with Howard and gasol McHale will have no choice but to play asik heavy minutes.

In a strange way, this game is more important to me than the post season (probably because our chances are not great). If we win and knock the Lakers out of the playoffs the season would be a smashing success no matter what happens after. We are already beyond expectations but this would be the cherry on top.

Let's not play defense. It's gonna be called foul anyway. No holds barred shootout!

unless he is required to provide help defense on pau and howard, which i'm very certain he will. it's not so much that he shouldn't leave blake to provide help defense; it's the fact that the rotation on D isn't good enough for someone else to come over and cover an open shooter once the ball is kicked out.

the success on D isn't predicated on individual match-ups as much; it's the team D, and our team D stinks.

Imagine the forum meltdown if the Rockets lost and will be facing OKC.

It might be wise to close down the forum for a few days to calm some members down. :)

As some other posters said that we should NOT play help defense in this game. Give pau and howard single coverage. Let Smith/Jones foul Howard if necessary.

This will be fun to watch! We might not win but at least I get to watch the game on the tv for once!
