Good thing there are no back-to-backs in the playoffs. Maybe we fair so poorly in b2bs b/c our style is so much more up-tempo than other teams, and we hence expend much more energy than other teams in our first game of a b2b.

For those asking about the Refs for tomorrow night's game; NBA doesn't post them until 8 a.m. CST. If you want to know check this site in the morning...

Greg Smith might just foul out before the first half is even over.

Lin will come out on all cylinders and Harden will hit his jumpers in this game. We get the win.

I'm gonna mentally prepare myself for us to play OKC next week.
Now that T-mac has signed with Spurs, the Lakers will be even more fire up to play the Spurs. I don't think our guys have that urgency in them. They feel complacent just for making the playoff.
Of course, this is nothing but guess work. I hope I'm wrong on all accounts.

Hmm... Stern might want the Lakers, but it seems like Vegas will probably need the Rockets... LA is favored by either 2.5 or 3, and that line will surely draw in lots of money on the Lakers.

It's more than a game.I prefer kicking Jazz out.So It's a good chance to run a playoff style game without fearing of a nice loss

Then they better get their rotations correct. Don't pull them out and rest them at weird times.

Hey guys, this is my first post.

As you can tell by my handle, I am part of Team Jeremy Lin, but I like to think of myself as a LTOF... Lin's Team Only Fan. I root for JLin's entire team and not just him. Although McHale's coaching has me pulling my hair sometimes ;)

Anyways, I've got tickets for the Lakers vs Rockets game in the lower section seats (I think that's what you call them), that are courtside? and on the ground. I'm going to be seated diagonally across from the visitor's bench near the goal post.

I hope to put up any cool pics that I take from the game.

Any tips on how I can score an autograph? Should I bring my own jersey or can I buy a souvenir there like a basketball and have it signed by JLin?

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to show that LTOF can be even handed in our fan appreciation.

    This is what they're thinking:

"I have no idea how we are going to defend Harden or Lin. How badly our back court gets dominated versus how badly we dominate their front court could determine the game. Pau and Howard need to bring their A games." - from LakersGround.net~

This is what's gonna happen Lins gonna drive all day long. Hardens gonna live at the free throw line. And Asik's gonna dominate DHoward. Go Rockets!!

LOL....many teams do fear of ROX breakouts (JH and JL). Its only Rox fans here who scrutinize way beyond means.

We do have some real good players, its just matter of time and better chemistry need (give and take) to have the best combo. In time, we should be there. Hopefully next season.

While I want very much to win, the bigger perspective is this game is a good test for the team. Pressure game, veteran opponent, hostile crowd. Who will show up? Who will wilt? Who will elevate his game? Who will be our leader?

If we still play sluggish in this game, then it really doesn't matter who we meet in the playoffs.
