In a way, it's kind of poetic that Kobe got injured on a phantom foul that ended up winning the Lakers the game.
why is everyone saying this? Kobe said himself he is shooting for 2-3 years, besides that can anyone honestly see Kobe letting himself go out like this?
I admit kobe is on Adrian Peterson level of super human but... as old as he is recovering from a injury like this is gonna be a tall task...
Laker nation on suicide alert...its cool that they have big men...but with out Kobe and Nash...the Lakers are done...Blake and Meeks are not going to keep this team afloat...the Lakers will not make the playoffs without Kobe giving them his life..and thats what he has done for the past few games... I loathe the Lakers...but I have to give credit to Kobe for playing out of his mind and body...unfortunately...DAntoni cost his best player his career ending...This will be the worst way to see Kobe go out...and I personally dont want to see that...

I promise you the Lakers will look great, particularly if Nash returns. They will be forced to run their offense through the post instead of taking countless bad jumpers the whole game (eg, Kobe 9/21 tonight, Dwight/Pau 16/21 and that's WITHOUT all-time great playmaker Nash setting them up). The sad thing is that even on the sidelines Kobe will continue to get credit for "inspiring" his team.
Interesting that NBA TV didn't censor Kobe's interview at all. I wonder if this was caused by his heavy minutes. This will NOT be Kobe's last game. Let's not get overly dramatic.

Man I hate kobe but hate to see him end his career this way. Well the Lakers are now DH's team. What will a 35 year old guy coming off a acl get as a FA 2015?
has to be. hes been playing 40+ minutes for the what? past 234322 games. i think he will try to come back during playoff with one leg tho
