The Utah blowout game is definitely up there; so is the Golden State blow-out game. But i think for me, the best one was the OKC win the night of the TRob trade where we basically won without a third of our team.
I only was able to see 3 or 4 games since I don't have CSN, so I have to go with the Bulls route. That was a great Christmas/Birthday present. I was actually shocked, but with one happy grin.
1. OKC comeback 2. Spurs game winner 3. GSW 3 pt barrage 4. Utah dumpster 5. Harden's 1st 2 games 6. 1st Laker game 7. New York games
Blowout win vs Knicks at TC Blowout win vs Grizzlies Blowout win vs Bulls Blowout win vs Knicks at NY Those early season blowouts meant so much to a young team and really set the tone for the rest of the season. Those wins make believers out of themselves and fans!
The first game of the season was great, but it was the second game which made me really think that this might just turn into a special season for the Rockets. All those knee-jerk reactions after the first two games came true. How awesome has this season been?!!
A tie between the Thunder game and the Spurs game. Those had me on my feet and scaring the family in the house by yelling like a madman.
gotta go with the OKC win. but the christmas day win really made me think that this team could be very dangerous. the offense just flowed beautifully.
My favorite is the OKC game where we came back from a double digit deficit in the 4th quarter to win the game. My other favorite is the Knicks game at MSG where the crowd was silenced by the beatdown and started boo-ing their own team.
The BLOW OUT win vs the NY Knicks AT MSG. The NY fans were cheering Jeremy Lin during introduction then started BOOing him shortly after tip off. So, what did Lin do? He destroyed the Knicks with his 'deep' penetration and the game was over by the 3rd quarter. The garden was dead quiet by the early 4th as fans were heading for the EXIT.
The ONE game that really turn this season into a huge success and it wasn't even a WIN. December 10th at home vs SAS. I believe BIGGEST game of the year for the Houston Rockets Organization was the December 10th game against the Spurs. Without Harden, Lin 'almost' carried the Rockets team to a victory. Lin put up 38 points with 7 assists, 2 steals, 2 TO. That game completely turned the Rockets and Lin's season around. It 'restored' the confidence for Lin. The city of Houston started to believe that LinSanity isn't a fluke. You also get the sense the Houston Organization and players also started to believe in him. The BEST stretch of games happened AFTER that lost to SAS on December 10th. Our Rockets went on to win 12 of their next 15 games. Lin's average since that game: 14.2 points 6.15 assists 1.6 steals 2.9 TO 45.4% FG
Hands down OKC game. We were down by double digits but managed to rally a comeback. I also believe this was the game where Harden truly showed OKC (and the rest of the league) what they gave away. GS and Utah blowouts are a close second and third.
Psshh. Figures. If that Lin game happened, no one saw it, did it really happen? People were watching the texans that night. Oh that's right, you're a giants and jets fan or raiders and 49ers fan. Jussst kidding, I'll take it easy on you. I missed the first half of the gsw game. The Lakers game was fun. Especially with hack a Ho. San Antonio was also fun. Last minute win. The ones that come close make me nervous. I'll go with OKC, followed by San Antonio, followed by Los Angeles. Gsw had one of the best atmospheres with one more three chants. The entire arena got behind that.
