Flip flop Kobe and Melo's rankings and I think its a fairly accurate ranking. In 3 or 4 years Harden might be the 3rd best player in the league.... that is amazing. I still can't get over how amazing of a steal that trade was. Good job Morey.

The only problem is Duncan can't play 38 minutes as Harden can.

Other than that. A Duncan led Rockests > Harden led Rockets.

You are not giving Harden's team mates credit.

Harden didn't get us into the playoffs, the team did. He happened to be the biggest piece though.

Harden is better than Duncan in scoring ONLY, and not by much ajusted to play minutes. Duncan is much better in any other categories.

Harden's play making may be pretty good but it is not what the team really needed and his play make is not the reason we win games. We got Lin and Beverley who both are good at it if not better than Harden.

What we need the most is defense, and Duncan has that. We also need interior scoring threat and Duncan has that too.

Harden's added 18 wins, yet he's not the reason we are in the playoffs?

    funny thing is

    3. Chris Paul(4 | +1)
    2. Kevin Durant(2 | -)
    1. LeBron James(1 | -)

are the only players ahead of harden that I would take over harden.:grin:

I'd take KD and LBJ over Harden and that's it. Harden can create his own shot, gets to the line better than just about anyone (besides KD), and does not appear to be as injury prone (AT ALL) as CP3. All of that adds up to taking The Beard over Paul. And if Harden ever learned to consistently play defense? That's a slam dunk, no-brainer...Beard>CP3.

Prime Duncan was a top 10 all time player. He is seriously underrated

You must not watch much basketball, because EVERY star player has plenty of iso plays. And to think that james harden is a black hole? I just dont see it. Yes he does do stupid things and turn the ball over alot but he is adjusting. Again EVERY star player has plenty of so called "selfish" "iso" plays during the course of a game, thats just the nature of star players in the nba.

Take a look at the assists of the other non pg star players around the league, and try to tell me he is a black hole or sellfish.

Im ok with Harden's placement with the exeption of Westbrook. Harden is better that Westbrook IMO.

I looked up AND1 Attempts per game and compared Harden's to some of the other elite scorers.

Harden's the best at drawing contact and finishing through it by a pretty large margin.

Duncan was the best player of his generation, and that includes Kobe.

But despite his good play, and he is playing better than he has for years, this isn't even close to prime Duncan.

I think you have an identity crisis. A lurker is someone who reads a board and doesn't post. A troll, which is what you are, is someone who posts BS to try to provoke a response from the board. Hopefully this clears up your confusion.

Yeah and hes in his prime while harden is still on the rise. The fact u can compare them is a testiment to hardens talent.

Harden's more efficient and is two times the playmaker.

Harden's efficiency has really dipped this last month or so.

Are we rating them at season's end?
