That's an interesting idea of cutting Garcia at the last week but isn't that kinda of giving up a playoff push? I know he doesn't really play but he is a Veteran. Kinda a big deal for the playoffs.

He was pretty good with the Lakers, but his folly was slacking off during the offseason, which led to him getting cut. He's a Lou Williams-type of player, and that's the role he'd fulfill on a team.

No way McHale would play AG in the playoffs when he knows nothing about him. Especially when Jones hasn't been on the court since McHale has came back.

No way McHale plays Ohlbrecht, either. Yet he's still on the team.

Goudelock (if hypothetically signed) would be added on a three-year, non-guaranteed deal like Anderson, Beverley and Ohlbrecht got. It would be a developmental signing, not one for a rotational player.

But as I said, Garcia's "rotation-worthy" play has likely made a Goudelock signing a moot point as the Rockets head towards the playoffs.

I always liked Glock and the Lakers roster cuts this year made no sense to me. The guy proved last year he could contribute at an NBA level when it came to scoring and made some ridiculous shots.

They got rid of CDR and Glock before cutting Johnson-Odom which made no sense. DJO was pretty much the same player as Glock - mediocre undersized combo guard - a little more athletic but with a crappier shot and unproven.

Then again the Lakers rarely develop prospects anyway.

McHale will play any competent player. He gave Beverkey minutes almost right away. If AG is better than Jeremy Lin, AG will play.

He wasn't playing T Jones and he seems competent or at least as competent as the other PFs on our team.

We have 3 PGs right now and AB never gets off the bench. Would love to see this kid signed/called up but doesn't seem like he'd play at this point.

As a guy who went to College of Charleston, I would love to see him on the team. He is an amazing shooter, especially off the dribble. Opening a roster spot would be difficult task right now though.

Why would they have waived Garcia now when no teams have expressed interest in Goudelock, the Rockets are deep in the wings, and they could sign Goudelock to a freshly minted three year deal next season?

Goudelock has looked really impressive in the D-League from the limited time I've seen him play though. Definitely looks like he's a tier above the rest and NBA rotation worthy.

Ohlbrecht is too valuable as a 7'0 C to just waive imo.

Running a team is hard for Russell Westbrook too but that ain't stopping him...lol. And Beverly doesn't run the team much when Harden is on the floor.

He's not even close to Lou Williams level nor in type of play. Great shooter, better than our bench guards but other than a running floater did not show much with the Lakers. His defense was suspect as well. The d-league stint probably did him good though.

It's so weird seeing so many former Rockets on the names listed. Taylor, Fortson, Armstrong, ...
