pretty sure LOF's prove their worth by lining the rockets' pockets.

winning the fan night vote doesn't actually provide much tangible benefit to rockets fans in houston. I guess houston area rockets fans can now watch the nba tv replay of the game late at night? it's something.

Blame Comcast for the blackout. It isn't NBA TV or out of town fans' faults.

Yes....Lin is always a Laker/Kobe Bryant crusher even off the courts on Fan voting.

I am pissed. I purposely voted Lakers game, but still failed. Now I can not watch this game on my HD TV, I blame all the Lin fans from Asia.

It would have been blacked out if we were still on FSSW. This is a nba blackout regulation. Nothing to do with Comcast.

I voted for the Lakers like 20 times.
It absolutely has to do with Comcast. If FSSW still carried the Rockets, it wouldn't be blacked out for us in Houston.

Does this have anything to do with Lin? I think it is more about the style we are playing.

It would still be blacked out on NBATV, but people would be able to watch it on FSSW, since people in Houston can get that channel.

As it is now I can't stream it on League Pass and can't watch on TV, so thanks to everybody that voted.

Oh man. Bummed the Rockets game will be blacked out? I'm so sorry. Really, I am – you guys have a raw deal if you don't have NBA TV.

But are you bummed the game will be on NBA TV and you live in Houston? Here's an idea: GO TO THE GAME.

Got sent two emails yesterday (probably along with half of us). Use promo code Houston or Rednation; it takes the ticket price of the upper ends to $17 from $30.

Yeah, I know that's money. But it's way better than going to see ANYTHING AT THE MOVIES. Hell, the player introductions are on a bigger screen and are more entertaining by themselves.

Great! if all these things lead super stars to believe they can get same media exposure in Houston, it will help us to attract our next max guy.

Tks OP, this is good news!

    It's a home game.

Fans in other states don't get to go to home games, so we appreciate nationally televised games. I've watched a lot of bad streams.

I'm sorry for the broadband league pass fans. That sucks.

But for the Houston area fans who are mad that they can't watch it when they could GO TO THE GAME...

Playing a sad song on the world's tiniest violin.
